Hanna Nitrite Meter

Nitrites are present in nature as a result of the decomposition of organic matter. In a Koi pond nitrites will be produced when the fish waste is broken down from Ammonia. Nitrites and then broken down to Nitrates. 

The Hanna Nitrite Meter Hi-93707 is an extremely easy to use low range nitrite tester and gives direct readout on the digital display in mg/L(ppm). To obtain a reading simply take a small sample of water in the glass cuvette supplied, add the reagent (not included), and then place the cuvette in the measuring chamber of the instrument.

The Hanna Hi-93707 shows nitrite concentrations directly from 0.00 to 0.35 mg/L. They can also determine sodium nitrite concentrations by simply multiplying the readings by 4.93.

The Hanna Hi-83203 is also an accurate nitrite tester. It is a useful pond water meter that can also measure Ammonia, Nitrate, pH, dissolved oxygen, phosphates and Total Chlorine.
